Our Heritage

Indian Ocean Homes was formed in 2015 by Paul Maslen, a well-respected and experienced home builder, with over 30 years hands on experience in the Perth Metropolitan market. Indian Ocean Homes was born of the desire to work with his clients to build their dream homes and establish a new chapter in the Western Australian building industry. Most recently, Paul was a Senior Manager within The Stannard Group of companies, playing an integral role in maintaining their position as a leader in quality construction and customer service for both single and two storey homes.   In over seventeen years with The Stannard Group of companies, Paul gained invaluable experience in all facets of building, from Sales and Marketing to Administration and Construction through to  Business Management. As the registered Building Supervisor of Ultimate Homes (part of the Stannard Group), Paul was personally responsible for the delivery of over 120 homes per year. Paul is also an active member in the Building Industry  through his roles as a Housing Councillor with the Master Builders Association and a judge with the Housing Industry Association. This experience translates into a deep understanding of what you the customer wants, as well as the knowledge and capability to seamlessly deliver your dream home.

Vision

Indian Ocean Homes focus is on building quality single and two storey homes that have the design and functionality to meet today’s changing landscape. Concentrating on the Perth Metropolitan Area, Paul’s hands on approach will ensure that every customer has the level of attention and service they deserve. Indian Ocean Homes understand that home building is a journey and we want to be the ones who have the honour of taking you on that journey, allowing our experience to guide you. Our focus is on quality construction and customer satisfaction – we do not aspire to be the biggest home builder in the market, but to deliver the best results and value for money, for our clients – whether it be an investment home or a place to call home.
