So happy with the look and quality finish of our Accoya timber cladding post on Rob and Marika beautiful home. So much time and effort has been put in to making the cladding SING😍 . Initially a galvanised steel post was installed and painted. CCA Timber studs were bolted and painted to the steel posts. Then top and bottom of the timber posts were sealed from moisture getting in and then painted again. Then the Accoya cladding cut to length to allow a 5 mm negative detail. Cladding ends then sand paper, ends sealed, primer coat to all sides, then 3 coats of Walnut stain to all sides. Cladding then clamped, pinned and stainless steel decking screws counter sunk to finish off. Thank you to Simon from Effectual Painting for all his quality work and helping me install. Simon now to putty all holes and 2 more coats.
