Since our last post the ground floor structure on Julian and Gemma’s home has been built after the two storey scaffold was removed. The Coastal look and feel is starting to take effect and is looking awesome. The brickwork to the garage and porch has been completed. The roof frame and roof cover has been completed. The Hardies Linea cladding has been installed to the front facade and gables, along with the exposed eaves and timber work… and its looks amazing! The massive back Alfresco area has been lined on the rake with a negative detail. This has been done so it flows beautifully with the raking high-lite clear glazed windows over the bi-fold doors and also flows seamlessly through to the massive open living area with high raking ceilings and negative detail cornice. The family will certainly enjoy these awesome fun friendly areas. The plaster work has nearly been completed to all the internal and external render walls. The glazing to all the ground floor windows and doors is booked in for this week. All the fixing hardware is order, ready for delivery in a couple of weeks for lock-up. It is so exciting to see Julian and Gemma’s family Coastal home come closer to taking shape and completion. Thanks Paul.
